Arriving by car

The Magdeburg motorway junction connects the city to the west and east with the A2 towards Hanover and Berlin and to the south with the A 14 towards Leipzig and Dresden.

The state capital of Magdeburg also lies on the B1, B71, B81, B184, B189 and B246 federal roads.


Arriving by train

Although Magdeburg is not currently connected to the ICE network, you can also get to Magdeburg quickly by train.
